- I have a funny question. Why does win95 report my serial port speed
- instead of my connect speed? This appears to be happening when ever I
- connect over 26.4k because I get reports of 19.2-26.4k connects
- depending on which provider I'm connecting with ( I have to ISP's ) and
- the telco routing of a particular call. I installed the new .inf file
- from USR and no difference. Is this a fault in the way I have win95
- setup, or is it the way I have the modem setup?. I am using a USR
- internal V34+ (33.6k) rom date 10/13/95 ver. 1.1 . I forced the
- installation onto com2 irq3 via the jumpers and am using AT&F1 as the
- init. and connecting with the win95 built in tcp/ip stack. I haven't
- figured out yet how to check ati6 while connected using the win95 stack,
- so I don't know what speed my connect really is when it say's "connected
- at 115,200" in the diaglog box. I do know that it is the seial speed,
- but why is it telling me this instead of my connection speed to my
- provider?
- Any help or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
